Honor your body and mind with gentle yoga and deep rest. This class is a gentle, guided, invitation to move with ease and rest consciously. It's self-compassion in action, and we make it easy for you with simple, clear invitations, time and space to explore what works for you, in our fully equipped, cosy stone and wood studio. You'll be guided to use your breath, find your own version of simple postures, exploring mindful movement, and practicing mindful awareness, in a slow paced class designed to ease your aches and pains and soothe your nervous system.
Gentle hatha is a slow and gentle yoga class for all levels. If you're a beginner, feeling tired, have been unwell or a managing a chronic illness, this class is for you. Chandrika teaches to the people in front of her so depending how you're feeling we may include more strength- building movements, but it's not a fast and sweaty style class.
Come to 36 Turquoise Loop, Banksia Grove a few minutes before 7pm on Wednesdays during term time. Please park within the property or at the nearby Peridot Park. Everything is provided in our fully equipped, beautiful, relaxing studio. It's most comfortable if you haven't eaten too much beforehand, wear stretchy exercise clothes, and bring a warm layer on cooler nights for relaxation.
